UC Davis Canva Design Enterprise Platform

Strategic Communications administers the Canva design enterprise platform at UC Davis. It provides campus communicators with access to branded templates across all channels that are pre-approved and customizable.

Shared News and Media Relations Tools

The News and Media Relations team has worked to negotiate special contract prices with Meltwater, a media-monitoring platform that allows us to track and report mentions of UC Davis in the news as well as to pitch stories to targeted reporters. Email James Nash for pricing and details.

Shared Social Media Management Tools

Our team has worked to negotiate special contract prices with the following social media management and monitoring tools that are available for campus partners to take advantage of.

  • Brandwatch. Brandwatch is an enterprise-level analytics tool that processes public online mentions of UC Davis, including mentions on Twitter, Facebook, blogs, Reddit, websites, and other online media. The data is aggregated into dashboards that allow your team to quickly identify trends and insights, deepen your understanding with your audiences, and glean understanding of how your organization is being discussed online.
  • Brandwatch for Students (Free for Students!). Students at UC Davis get access to Brandwatch trainings and data for three months for free to use for assignments, studies and market research. Register for Brandwatch for Students here. If you do any research on UC Davis, drop us a line! We would love to learn about your project!
  • Hootsuite. Hootsuite is an enterprise-level social media management tool that provides a platform for social media communicators to draft, schedule, manage, measure and report social media content. The platform provides workflow management, community management and engagement, all in a single, secure platform.
  • Mish Guru. Mish Guru is currently the only tool on the market that manages Instagram and Snapchat stories with a dashboard of analytics, monitoring capabilities and the ability to produce and schedule your stories.

SiteImprove is a tool that is licensed by UCOP to assess websites for accessibility and quality scoring.
