Campus units approaching anniversary milestones often wish to celebrate their legacy with custom logos. However, past accommodations have led to varying results.
For consistency and ease of adoption, we propose narrowing focus to major anniversaries (10, 20, 25, 50, 75 and 100 years) with a simple template system that leverages existing branding. Less significant milestones generally do not merit use of limited campus resources.
Anniversary marks should be used for the approximate duration of the celebrated year up to 18 months. After that, units should revert to previously approved branding.
